Major Tech Cable Locator 12 to 400V ACDC CATIII 300V
MT195 Web

The MT195 Cable Locator consists of a transmitter and a receiver which is a lightweight portable instrument and can be used to detect or trace conductors. The signal generated by the transmitter is made of a modulated current, generating an electromagnetic field around a conductor. The electromagnetic field includes a voltage within the receiving coil. The induced voltage is amplified, decoded and converted to the original signal by the receiver and finally displayed on the receiver's screen. The connecting parameter for the transmitter during an application must be a closed current circuit.

  • Receiver indicates reception level, transmission code as well as mains voltage detection
  • Transmitter measures V 12V - 400V AC/DC
  • Detects metallic water piping
  • Detects live or dead cables inside walls
  • Detects interruptions and short circuits in underfloor heating (using additional MT195T)
  • Transmitter with LCD display included
  • Acoustical receiving signal switchable
  • Frequency 60Hz
  • Output Signal 125kHz
  • Locating and tracing lines
  • CATIII 300V / CATII 600V

  • Cable Identifier (MT195T)
  • Carrying Case
  • 9V Battery
  • Test Leads
  • Instruction Manual
