Moving to Level 3 together

Auckland is moving to Level 3

To our valued customers,

 

As we move back to Alert Level 3 in the fight against COVID-19, Hamer's Auckland branch will operate at Alert Level 3 from midday Wednesday 12th August for 72 hours as advised by the New Zealand Government. 

Our Christchurch brand moves to Level 2 and remains largely unaffected, except for social distancing and increased hygiene practices.

Many of our team will again move to work from home. Staff in our Distribution Centres will continue working on-site to supply our customers with the products needed.

We are here and ready to help your business. Alert Level 3 will mean you may need to operate differently as before; our team of specialists can guide you with product solutions to keep your staff safe and enable you to sell your products or services without physical contact with customers, no matter what industry you operate in.

Delivery Delays 

Ongoing, significant demand for parcel deliveries, as well as social distancing and hygiene requirements, may result in some extended delivery times.

It may take a little longer for delivery than our usual next business day service. We are working very hard with our delivery partners to mitigate these delays and provide normal service as best as possible. We will endeavour to supply your products as quickly as we can, so in the meantime please only contact the customer services team if your order has failed to arrive after more than two working days post the date of your order.

All courier deliveries will be 'no signature required' to ensure safe, contactless delivery.

Your usual Hamer Sales Manager is also available to provide support with whatever you may require.

Returns 

The return of goods to Hamer will remain available.

Collection Rules - Auckland 

  • Collects only from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
  • Orders must be on account or pre-paid.
  • Orders to be placed 1 hour before collection.
  • On arrival, please call collects counter DDI below and state your name, company and mobile number for goods to be readied:
    Auckland: 09 415 1889
  • Stay in your car, once goods are placed in the coned off area you will be text or called to come in and collect.
  • One customer in, one customer out...strict physical distancing must be practised at all times.
