Dear Customers and Suppliers,
Again we are relieved and very lucky to advise that all Hamer staff and their families are unharmed by the 13th June quakes. There is no disruption to our services other than some slightly slower same day couriers in Canterbury. All faxes and emails have been received. Thanks for your ongoing messages of support. The next show for Hamer Power Engineering is the Electrical Engineers Association Conference and Exhibition in Auckland 24th and 25th June - Hope to see you there.
Sincerely

Dear Customers and Suppliers,
We are relieved and very lucky to advise that all Hamer staff and their families are unharmed by the quake. The building withstood the shake but the office was in disarray and some stock was damaged. Power, phone, servers, email and water resumed and we had tidied up by 1pm Thursday 24th February. Since then we have been shipping our Power Engineering product to assist in the underground and overhead line repair.
Many thanks for all the messages of support from our suppliers and customers - apologies if we have not replied to each and everyone. Some texts were very delayed and sometimes our phones overtyped as fast as they came in.
Email is running and any emails sent between 1pm Tuesday 22 and Thursday 24th will have arrived even though you have had fails. If you think we might miss something urgent send again now please.
Suppliers - if Lyttleton port is affected diverts are on to Timaru 100 miles away so please do not hold up orders. Air shipments are working normally now.
Customers - The best form of support you could give us is your orders! There are 35 Fax orders held up at Telecom so if you have not received goods by Monday 28th please call to confirm we got your order. EDI is running.
Sincerely
Geoffrey Sullivan
